UPPER EAST SIDE LOFT
Located in a Philip Johnson designed building on the Upper East Side, the original enclosed kitchen lacked cabinet storage and counter space. We were tasked with opening the kitchen to the adjacent living-dining space and creating a more up to date kitchen with ample storage.
Using porcelain slabs for the counters, back splash, and floor, the design is virtually maintenance free and well suited for a busy family of 5.
Additionally, the living room received a wall of oak cabinetry which incorporated a custom slatted grille for the air conditioner.
The children's rooms were also outfitted with new built-in desks, beds, and wardrobes to maximize efficiency in each room.
